As I write" back to the old routine" I have a smile on my face. Being a mommy starting a new business, the routine is anything but routine. Each day brings with it new adventures and experiences some that were planned, others not so much and let's not forget all the stuff that was planned but never actually happened.
Yoga claims there is a state called Kaivalya, this is state in which you don't feel constrained or squeezed by external concerns.
As I stumbled through my day trying to find my bearings, bouncing from one chore, errand, mommy moment to the next, It occurred to me that I was feeling relaxed, I wasn't feeling my usual feelings of tension. All those habitual holding patterns seemed to melted away.
I would never claim to have found a state of Kaivalaya, but someone once said that we should all strive to find yoga in our daily lives. I think I may just have found "my" yoga in my little life today.
Happy Monday everyone!!
