extraordinary faculty with which one can probe other minds. in addition the clouds that obscure correct perception are minimized."
I was recently asked as an exercise to pick a yoga Sutra that "speaks" to me, to write it down and place it somewhere I would see it everyday. I was asked to journal my thought on this sutra daily and how that teaching of that sutra appeared to be in my day.
I have to admit I am not the best a journaling every day. it is not something I tend to do as part of my daily rituals, so this has been a learning curve for me. It is quite interesting how the sutra has made itself known to me each day (some times I have some deep realizations, other times not so deep).
I would like to share this exercise with all of you. You don't need to read the yoga sutras to try this, pick a quote or a saying that speaks to you and try journaling about that, it really is an interesting exploration. for me it has allowed to me find a "theme" to journal about and has led me to look forward to write down my thoughts.
if you are not into writing out your thoughts, what a bout drawing a picture about the "theme" or taking a picture....maybe you will discover a side of you unknown.
